Mr. Islas is a member of the Meridian Development groups technical committee as an independent architect collaborating with local and state Governmental Agencies and with Mexican and International Developers and has been involved in significant, diverse architectural & urban development projects in northern Baja California.
Since 1971 he has participated in mixed-use projects, from conceptual designing, promoting, due diligence, planning, feasibility, and technical studies, construction phase design to project completion.
In Baja California Mr. Islas has been part of the entrepreneurial planning proposals, combining urban and economic development into viable solutions. He is active in the Baja Coastal, urban, and infrastructure development such as; – Baja California Coastal Corridor master planning from Rosarito, Ensenada.
